  • "Never Take A Stupid Risk.

    In life people take stupid risks, It was Alvin Toffler who wrote “The Illiterates of the future are not those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn. see below stories of people who took stupid risk, one time or the other in their life.

    Angela says;
    I took the stupid risk of having a sex with a man who is not my spouse. I feel so dry. I want to be delivered from fornication. Please all pray for me so I shouldn't die in sin.

    Abel says:
    The stupid risk i took was having sex with women who are not my wife, I really need help.

    Stella says:
    When i witnessed what a lady passed through during an abortion. I told God that once I do abortion in my life, he should not give me children and stupidly i had one abortion in 2002 before i got married. I have been married now for 3 years and there is no pregnancy. Please help me pray that God should forgive my stupid risk and give me children.

    Mary says::
    The stupid risk I have ever taken was having sex with my fiancé, getting pregnant and removing the baby through abortion. I just can't forgive myself

    Mike says:
    The stupid risk i took was borrowing money for someone to pay his debt and since then I found myself borrowing money till now for no reason.

    Rosy says:
    The stupid risk I took was marrying a man I didn't court. Whose family I didn't investigate. I simply took a leap of faith and I crashlanded.`He left the house just after two years of marriage. Please advice me.

    Faith says:
    My stupid risk was that I made a blood covenant 14 years ago with my boyfriend. Then a year later we lost contact , I can't say if he is alive or dead, I am 34 years and still single.

    EJIRO says..............
    The stupid risk I took 2years back was allowing a close friend of mine to be employed in the same Company that I work, and in the same office. Guess what she did?she went about telling tales about me to my boss which are not true so that I will lose my job.

    Readers, if you don't mind you can share your stupid risk with us, so others will learn from you and don't make the same mistake.

    True, the greatest risk is to risk nothing.” YOU MUST LEARN WHERE TO DRAW THE STUPID LINE"! The stupid line is the line that separates a smart risk and a stupid risk. But never forget this; " ALWAYS TAKE A RISK. IF YOU WIN , YOU WILL BE HAPPY; IF YOU LOOSE, YOU WILL BE WISE. Even if you have taken one stupid risk or the other, have this in mind, Jesus loves you, and he is ready at all times to forgive your stupid risks so you can forge ahead. Also, if you have failed like I have done many times, forgive yourself, learn the lesson and move on.

    Cheers.

  • Tomato Story

    A Jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at Microsoft. The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

    'You are employed' he said. Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.

    The man replied 'But I don't have a computer, neither an email'.

    'I'm sorry', said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job.'

    The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.
    He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times, and returned home with $60.

    The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday.

    Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

    5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US ... He started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life insurance.

    He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email address.
    The man replied, ‘I don't have an email.'
    The broker answered curiously, 'You don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!' The man thought for a while and replied, 'Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!'

    Moral of the story

    Moral 1
    Internet is not the solution to your life.

    Moral 2
    If you don't have Internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.

    Moral 3
    If you received this message by email,
    you are closer to being an office boy/girl, than a millionaire. .........

    P.S - I am closing my email account & going to sell tomatoes!!!

  • HEALTH TIPS; KEEP FIT ...while you work!!!

    Recently there have been reports of many bankers and telecomm workers slumping at work in Nigeria, issues with blood clots, and other health issues. Recently two staff; one in Zenith and another in UBA; recently died and this could have been avoided. The staff in UBA slumped on the staircase and passed away and the Zenith staff died at a party she and her husband were attending.

    Cause of death?

    Both staff had been working for more than 6 months without leave of any sort. The lady had been complaining of leg pains, not knowing she had a blood clot in her leg. She had been massaging the leg for sometime, which the doctor said added to reasons why she could not be saved. The UBA staff had been working, also without leave and working all hours of the day and weekend. Presently another banker is in Igbobi undergoing physiotherapy for a slipped disk due to his sitting position and long hours at work. Apparently Igbobi is full of bankers and telecomm workers undergoing different stages of physiotherapy.

    Let us all try to take our lives a little more seriously. The following tips may help us;

    * Always take 60 minutes break in between work. Walk around your office or along a corridor for a minimum of 5- 10 mins to ease kinks in the neck and back.

    * Drink a lot of water during the day to work your kidneys and make you get up to go the loo.

    * Always have your complete lunch break; in case you are not aware, this is for an hour.

    * Always endeavour to exercise for at least 20 minutes a day, and

    * Most importantly, please take your leave when due. It does not have to be the whole of your leave, it can be

    a casual leave for a couple of days. This will ensure your body is replenished regularly.

    Best Regards.
