"THE BUTTERFLY LESSON"

by EJIRO @ Friday, Sep. 28, 2007 - 16:19:46

Another weekend is here again, I Can't wait to go home, I bought lot of movies which I intend watching later on, Also I am planning to cook a new meal which I learnt recently for dinner. Then tomorrow, I will attend my classes in school as from 9.am in the morning and later in the day, I will go for a swim. Then probably in the evening I will go for a long walk with Pettia, Yes Pettia" My dog":DD . WELL, enough of all this, lets get down to business.

Today I will be writing on what i tagged " The butterfly lesson"

HAPPY READING, AND PLEASE YOUR COMMENT IS APPRECIATED.

”One day, a small opening appeared on a cocoon; a man sat and watched for the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.

Picture1

Then, it seems to stop making any progress.
It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could not go any further

Picture2

So the man decided to help the butterfly: he took a pair of scissors and opened the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily.
But it had a withered body, it was tiny and shrivelled wings

Picture3

The man continued to watch because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would open, enlarge and expand, to be able to support the butterfly’s body, and become firm.
Picture4

Neither happened!
In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a withered body and shrivelled wings. It never was able to fly.
Picture5

What the man, in his kindness and his goodwill did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening, were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings, so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon

Picture6

Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life.
If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been. Never been able to fly.

Picture7

I asked for Strength...
And God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
Iasked for Wisdom...
And God gave me Problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity...
And God gave me a Brain and Brawn to work.

Picture8

I asked for Courage…..
And God gave me obstacles to overcome.
I asked for Love...
And God gave me Troubled people to help

Picture9

I asked for Favors...
And God gave me Opportunities.
“I received nothing I wanted...
But I received everything I needed."
Picture10

Live life without fear, confront all obstacles and believe that you can overcome them.
Send this message to your friends and show them how much you care. Send it to anybody that you consider a FRIEND, even if this means to send it to the same person that conveyed it to you. If this message returns to you, you can be sure that your circle of friendship is made out of true friends.

"WHO IS A FRIEND?"

by EJIRO @ Thursday, Sep. 27, 2007 - 17:42:03

The week has ran so fast, I am sure because the year is coming to end that's why. I have So much to do in the office because of my long absence from duty, anyway Iam trying to catch up.

I have come to love blogging, it makes you relax and you feel good that you are sharing your experience to a friend out there you haven't meet. It's fun really, and I am enjoying blogging, although I haven't started making money from it, I am still having problems figuring how to do that even after many lectures from friends. Apart from making money through blogging, you make new friends everyday and you feel good that your are communicating with someone, sharing your thoughts and Ideas with someone, reading about other people experience, the feeling of togetherness comes up and when you get comments from your friends it makes you feel special.

I am dedicating this post titled "Who is a friend? to all my bloggers friends, my friends at home and all over the world.

ENJOY!1!

"CHANGE OF STATUS 2"

by EJIRO @ Tuesday, Sep. 25, 2007 - 14:19:29

I had a very hectic monday, trying to catch up with my work in the office and in school. I got home late in the evening very tired. Luckily my husband had already prepared dinner for us, "ooooh how carinnnnnnnnnnnng" "You can say that again".

I woke up with determination to face the day as it comes. So far, I have been able to do much of my work in the office.

In Nigeria, and some other nations in Africa, before you carry out the white wedding ceremony in church, you have to do the marriage traditionally. That is, the groom has to pay the bride price. The bride price is a token amount that is required from the groom to give to the father of the bride. Also some other stuff like palm wine, kolanuts, hot drinks, bag of salt and so many others goes along with the bride price also know as dowry price. In Nigeria, the traditional marriage is very colourful, the attires worn also are very colourful.

Cheers:wave:

"Baby Used for Drug Trafficking"

by EJIRO @ Tuesday, Sep. 04, 2007 - 18:18:33

Hi all, a friend of mine forwarded this story to my mail box, since i saw it, I have been crying since I saw it, :(. It so sad, it came along with a video clip, which i can't publish, in the video clip you will see where the two year old child was slaughtered and his body was stuffed with cocaine. Some people are really wicked. Because of the lust of money, men have sold their heart and conscience to the devil,

Here is the story!!

A female in Texas who, with her husband, was planning a weekend trip across the Mexican border for a shopping spree. At the last minute their babysitter canceled, so they had to bring along their two-year-old son with them. They had been across the border for about an hour when the baby got free and ran around the corner.

The mother went chasing but the boy had disappeared.
The mother found a police officer that told her to go to the gate and wait. Not really understanding the instructions, she did as she was told. about 45 minutes later, a man approached the border carrying the boy.

The mother ran to him, grateful that he had been found. When the man realizedit was the boy's mother, he dropped the boy and ran. The police were
waiting and got him. The boy was dead. In the (less than) 45 minutes he was missing, he was cut open, ALL of his insides removed and his body cavity stuffed with COCAINE. The man was going to carry him across theborder as if he were asleep. A two-year-old boy, dead, discarded as if hewere a piece of trash for somebody's cocaine.

If this story can get out and change one person's mind about what drugs mean to them, Please spread this story to as many people as you can.

If you have a blog, publish it out there, too.Let's
hope and pray it changes a lot of minds.

The saddest thing about the whole situation is that those persons who suffer are innocent and people we love...

God Bless you in this united effort to spread the word. You just might
save
a life! May God bless you and keep you in his loving embrace.
